There was a bit of chaos yesterday with the waiting list piece of our ticketing application. Many people received two emails back to back:
- Confirm your Ignite Portland ticket (in other words, “your ticket is almost ready!”)
- Your Ignite Portland ticket expired (in other words, “you lost your ticket.”)
We noticed the problem as it was happening and were able to stop the notices before they spread through the whole waiting list. We have since ironed out the bug.
If you were on the waiting list to begin with rest assured you are still on the list and the list is still in the correct order. If enough tickets are canceled for you to be given one, you will have a full 24 hours to confirm the ticket.
Sorry again for the mess. And remember, even if you don’t get a ticket we have saved room for around 200 people in the general admission line the day of the event.
